hi peeps .
think i may have a small prob with my mv6.
it seams to hold back for a second or too at about 3000 revs then kicks and takes of like it should .
does it in all gears ..
any ideas.? please

Sounds like a missfire to me. How old are the plugs?

Got the same symptoms here and have had for the past month or so.

Certain is an ignition fault so either plugs/leads /disspack probably in that order....mine did have a slight leak from the cam cover gasket so imagine it is a lead boot thats starting to fall apart and at high load causing an arc...will investigate when it gets a bit warmer  ;D

Imagine given the year of your car similar ignition fault

Any vaccum leaks? Any codes stored?
Equally sounds like a flat spot - sure your timing (valve/cambelt timing) is ok?
Also is this a new fault, or has it always been there? If new, when did you first notice it?

sounds like a vacuum supply problem to the multiram system to me.

only noticed prob in last couple weeks .
dont feel like a missfire to me .
feels like an old carb flat spot.
