If you watch the advert carefully you'll see the guy pull a kind of blind back, i would have thought that there would some vizors attached to the blind in some way. There has to be, else like you say you'd be blinded by the sun.
I personally wouldn't like this option & would go for a normal roof line.
I've got some new Astra brochures some where, i'll look them up & let you know.
The local dealer had one in. As you say it's just like a big blind built into the roof. When you pull it forward it looks just like a normal car screen from the inside. I wasn't convinced.

My Omega spat its dummy out when I was going to use it today. Flat battery  ..... again. I'd to jump it when I went to Pompey about 10 days ago, since then it's sat there on the path. Tried to use today, unlocked OK, but the dash lit up very dimmly, not even a splutter from the starter. It's still the same nattery as when I bought the car 4yrs ... or was it 5yrs ago.
I've ordered a new one today ...... but none in stock at 'my' dealer or group.

Got it, you can buy them a lot cheaper on ebay :)

I was merely pointing in the right direction ..... I didn't say you had to buy it from Boots.  ;D  ;D  ;D  :y  :y

You need one of these. It won't cure a f***ed back, but it does help.

Talking of sat-nav discs ...... Apparently there's a disc that can be used to change the default woman's voice to a bloke's or American woman's voice, for the earlier Carin system. Is is possible to 'borrow'  ;) a copy from someone for evaluation purposes? ;)  ;)

There was also the small coupe which had quite a following at the time... the Manta. Not to mention the Euro-corvette, or as it was officially known the Opel GT... both were RWD, naturally.
.... and the Opel Kadett coupe
clicky
there used to be one around here last year, but i haven't seen it for a while now - probably be attacked by the tin worm.
