The usual MAY BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY meet will take place on MAY 5th 2014.
Venue....Hazlemere Community Centre, Rose Avenue, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP15 7SY
Usual services provided, Rolls, Bar, Tea and Coffee, and no doubt curry for those who wish later. Plenty of comfortable inside seating if weather bad.
Easy access from most areas. Premier Inns within 3 miles.
Come and join us, see if we can beat our record of 23 Omega's.
11:00am till 18:00 (or thereabouts) Early arrivals no problem

good day all,after visiting theboy today who kindly helped trying to find coolant leak he suggested the meet, i have ordered hbv part in the hope that i may get help as complete numpty to mechanical work also need suspension looked at or lack of it if anyone can assist.

We live five minutes away so no problem for us.

Sunday night is roast/carvery... if they have any left. We have never succeeded yet !!!!

Yep...spot on. As you say...weather is looking good, maybe a bit on the cool side, but as regulars know, the terrace outside the lounge is a suntrap :y
By the response, this looks like being a biggy again.......
We will be doing usual rolls...salad, sausage, and this year, I have persuaded swmbo to do bacon too. Bacon smell always makes people hungry, at least it does me. Teas coffee, and bar available. Booze will cost a fraction more as I had to put up prices today, but only by 10p.
All food and tea/coffee is by your generosity.....as long as we get back what we spend, that suits us. On saying that, if there is a bit over, I'll get swmbo a bunch of flowers from OOF as she is the one that labours on the day, whilst I just mingle or do the bar. :)
I shall be on site from 9.00am as I have to unlock to let the women in to do Zumba.....all those writhing bodies sets me up for the day ;D ;D

Beginning to look very unlikely for me :( All sorts of things going on with the house in Wales. Tree surgeons, fence putter-uppers, builders etc etc. Not to mention a 90 year old Mum that needs looking after, and the fact that the house is still full of unpacked boxes :'(
SWMBO won't thank me for disappearing early to meet up with a load of strange people ;) from t'internet.

Can I be cheeky and ask if anyone can replace a rear electric window mech for me? I have the part, just needs fitting, but i will need to borrow a cordless drill of some sort to drill out the rivets ::) , oh and some of that lube ::) ;D for the window runners haha

hi can i ask if i can attend monday if anyone has spare bumper bar and can help refit bumper mine out on nearside and also think i have sticky front calipers and lastly i think need wishbones checked and if any member has spares obviously to be purchased etc. oh just on off chance windscreen washer bottle could do with replacement not sure if bottle or pump but if can get bumper off ideal time to do i reckon again hopefully someone knows how to do as i am useless as marks dtm calib will vouch, i would appreciate any help you can give. :y

Have not got bleed gear though.

just want to thank tony and Christine for their hospitality today..another great meet guys :y, even of there was a curve ball thrown in by tony I guessing that was a newbie initiation test...but you are not supposed to scupper your own meet mate ;D... and I think you got off very lightly with Carole though
One thing I would say though is that garage door could do with a bit of a touch up with some fresh paint ;D

Its an honour that so many of you come from a large distance away, and great to meet new faces. I hope some of you solved your problems. Its what the meetings are about, backsides hanging out of bonnets and ankles showing underneath.
Our Red Kites gave us a super show of how to grab up the chicken I threw out in the adjacent tennis court. (Sorry Sal, I know you don't like close encounters)
My highlight was seeing Tim's (Unlucky Alf's) Omega looking resplendent, and being allowed to park in pride of place.
Two years ago, he was asked to park over in the corner, so there was no chance of his rust contaminating our cars ;D ;D Todays version was a credit to behold, as pictures when published will show.
Thanks again to Essex Big Al, for the musical entertainment, total star.
Most thanks have to go to Christine for doing all the food, etc, etc. My main job is just mingling ;D ;D

Have to say though, we both feel knackered. Sorry to have to turn down the curry invite, but my pills were kicking in and after I had locked up and alarmed the place I was just about done in.

I must thank chrisgixer for helping to lift my arse (of TBE, as opposed to my backside ;D), top man as always.
I had a thoroughly enjoyable day, and even managed to get Mrs TB back home before she turned into a pumpkin (50 mins home, took double that to get there), although the brakes were a tad warm.
