Hi Omega Owners.

Having had a spell away from Vauxhall (last one was a Carlton) I have returned. Just bought a 2.2CDi Auto Omega and it's like driving an old friend. (In the nicest possible way of course)

I shall be scouring this site for advice on servicing and parts supply to keep my Omega in top condition. I know it won't be cheap to run but if I wanted cheap I would have looked elsewhere. I wanted quality and comfort.....and got it. Glad to be part of the forum.

Cheers

worm' :)

Hi all, thanks for the welcome messages.
I completed an advanced vehicle examiners course some years ago whwre my Carlton was dragged into 'class' (it was a big room) to enable the demonstration of the worm and roller steering box mechanism as opposed to rack 'n pinion. THE MAN said worms are far superior to R 'n P, hence the chosen name 'worm n' roller'

Omega's also have a steering box. Goodeee!!!
