Does the team think they swapped drivers as they were being flagged down by the police?

Just when you thought UK politics had reached new depths.

I suspect there is a lot more to ccme.

90 minutes in total diagnostic time. 15 euros, seemed very little so gave him 20.

Problem is an internal fault with the MIB itself. A search of the internet throws up plenty of UK companies that repair your MIB . 2/3 day turnaround. There will be similar here but finding one will be a challenge as will be the logistics. Might be easier to turn up in person and stay in a hotel nearby.

I feel an OOF meet in Tower Hamlets.

Sadiq could keep an eye on the tool kits.

It is getting tough to be able to talk about anything going on. I haven’t anything nice to say about either side in Gaza. Likewise Ukraine war though we are supposed to be on Ukraines side purely and simply as “we” will be next.

I posted on vw forum and got a great comprehensive answer including schematic showing pin outs and the options for dedicated amp or contained in MIB. Most excellent help as it even shows the various speaker pins.. Just hoping it isnt a damaged cable .

I found a damaged wire in the loom to drivers seat. Pretty poor given its known life. Anyway my auto electrician can effect a repair later next week.

Its above my pay grade now.

Popped round to see a Spanish friend  who I would describe as an auto electrician. He contacted VW and they said there isnt an amp . Searching the web, we have concluded the component we are looking for is under the drivers seat ( LHD). There is certainly something there under the carpet.

So I have booked it in for probable seat removal later next week.

Went to the London Olympics (twice) under protest and have no desire to repeat the experience.  :)

You'll be culturally enriched if you go to the Paris Olympics!  :)

No, reading between the lines I tihink he isn’t likely to go to France. Just a feeling.

No power to plug in door frame. Hence why I hope it is a bad connection n the amp.

I have never set foot in France, and its highly unlikely I ever will.  :)

Never say never! I had got you down for this years Olympics. Time out to the Citroen factory museum. Then lager or three in the evening . You never know you might even get converted into a Catholic by fire and the sword, rudeness and disdain while you are there.

Long shot but anyone know where the amp is located on a mk 7 golf estate?

Got RH front door speaker, off most of the time - comes on sometimes on the wretched potholes.

Door panel off - no power to speaker.

Head unit off and quite a surprise at just how few wires there are. So somewhere there is an amp with loads of wires. Can’t see one under/ back of glove box , only pollen filter. Nothing obvious in boot. Couple of humps under each front seats but covered by carpet. Can’t see much cooling if they are under that! So stumped. Not getting very far on the internet either.

My dad has gone through that funeral phase. He is 97. Doesn’t stop him and  his same age neighbour trawling the deaths page eachThursday.

The only suit I now possess is hanging in the spare bedroom at dads.

Funerals in Spain are all about people and not what you wear and usually happen with 48 hours.

We just decided to go to the Fallas in Valencia. Bit last minute. 250 a night b and b .denand far outstrips supply.

Always wanted to go. Cost is fairly academic. It will be another thing ticked off my bucket list.
