Depends on what you want it for. The former Mrs 944 and I bad one left to us and it did a great job as a van that was accepted at the local tip. It probably saved us £2-3k in skip costs alone.
But. The autobox was a dire automated manual jobbie that only a specialist could fix and would cost thousands if it ever went wrong. I had a fan position switch fail, there are 2 possible part numbers, neither fitted when I tried them and the one in it had no part number I could see
. Oh and it had the least comfortable seats of any moving vehicle I've ever had to sit in.
I couldn't recommend one as a long term ownership proposition unless you need exactly what it has to offer and no substitute would do.
Personally I'd buy a Ford s-max/galaxy or zafira every time rather than another bingo.
