And now the fires in Corfu...(as if they're a direct result of the fires in Rhodes or Athens) and let's not forget the fires in Iberia and France last year.

The meteorologist they interviewed clearly didn't study meteorology as apparently everything is the direct result of the CO2 we're spewing out. No mention of the El Niño effect whereby the temperature of the Pacific is causing the Indian Ocean to be hotter and forming blocking highs all over the place. Add in local geography and you get regional hotspots.

And it's not the first time there's been some impressive summer storms in the Alps There's a reason no one builds on the valley floors and it's not to save the grass.

Eventually the weather breaks and it's all yesterday's news. Rhodes and Corfu will rebuild over the winter and next summer season will most likely be their busiest ever.

We have ordered my dads groceries from Morrisons for years.

Along comes “ delivery pass renewal” . Did that and it has all gone belly up. Cannot get out of reiterative loops. Now groceries delivered but payment declined by Morrisons almost at the same time as foods arrived.  Hours spent trying to fix something that wasn’t broken.

One day these anomalies will be handled by AI.
