Cam belt cover removal
« on: 22 April 2011, 11:37:22 »

Hi Folks, Re: My 2.6 2002 - Oil in water, over-heating etc. So looks like a new oil cooler, water-pump and cam belt job(Think it's Due). Plus front discs, pads and track rod end for MOT. Started getting me hands dirty on Monday! Removed oil cooler by Wednesday. What a mess.. Took off Aux belt Yesterday  morn. Then had to leave it. Any advice on removing the pulley's in order to get the cam-belt cover off? I have undone the small bolts but that does not seem to free them. Thanks in anticipation

gentle persuation I'm afraid - gentle taps with rubber mallet. Slightly less gentle taps for crank pulley ;D
