Fitted new adjusters to a replacement headlight that I bought ages ago for my BMW and then fitted it to the car.  I should be able to see where I am going now as the old headlight was more like a fishtank!  ::)  ;D

Nothing by me but watch the 2 guys from Autoglass replace my damaged front screen, which has been cracked now for 6 months or more.

Not impressed by the new rubber trim that fits onto the new screen rails as whilst I accept it is more cosmetic than for keeping water out it seems to have very little contact with the bodywork at the top and both sides.

Time will tell if it remains in place although guy did need to use resin mallet to get it into the channel in the rails.

Thats an indication that they did not sit the screen far enough into the aperture and that the bonding is to thick

So expect trims to come off then ? and back for screen to be removed and refitted  :(

See how it goes but the lip of the trim on the roof doesn't touch in places so sure water trap :-\

Trouble is I have an urgent job tonight so 80 mile drive. Will see if they stay on car,but expect they wil as feel quite secure it just the flexible rubber edge doesn't fit to the bodywork on either side or the roof line, just the 2 corners.

Expect its just piss poor trims now supplied however the original was so badly sun bleached it was almost white and got split taking it off.

Fortunately the local depot is just around corner so may well pay a visit to them tomorrow and see what can be done.

More likely poor workmanship than poor parts

That's on the North coast north of Paphos ... Western end of the island IIRC .... didn't get round that far very much.... fair way from Akrotiri !! Always enjoyed "The Pelican" in Paphos mind ..  before they built the new airport and the place expanded exponentially .. :(

Exactly this. They couldn't fit an Omega screen correctly if the factory did it for them :-X

Pelican is in the harbour, Kato Paphos. Been there many times if out in Paphos.

Yup, I'm about as far north as you can go on Greek side.

Sorted through my Omega spares and chucked a load in the bin, due to lack of space.  ::)

Yep, junk is junk. I used to belong in the I'll keep that, it might come in handy camp, but have realised that it hardly ever does. I now need a really good reason to keep stuff once a job is finished. Once you get into the habit of not keeping used-up crap, it gets much easier :y
