Hmmmm....I have lots of 'it will come in handy' stuff. Plumbing tools (I've got bending springs for some reason  ;D), power tools that are well past their best, effin big stilsons...etc.

Oh I have still have some, and do find it hard to dispose of working tools. Interestingly, I've had to put the knackered Dremel(sort of) back in the bin after Dad 'rescued' it tonight. He took some convincing that it wasn't supposed to randomly self-adjust its speed between 20,000rpm and 0.

I was ready to throw out a Black & decker version of a dremel yesterday, but opened the case and tried it out and it worked perfectly after years of being ignored. Exactly the same story with a cordless drill I forgot I had. Stuck the battery on charge and then tried the drill. It worked fine.
This caused a bit of a problem, as I had already given the shelf they live on to swmbo to keep her gardening stuff on ,so I now have a pile of stuff on my bench which is currently homeless.  ::) ;D

Ive had plenty of "excitement" in my life up to now. I'm now trying hard to slip slowly and quietly into decrepitude.

No...too hectic. I'm lucky if I get to sit on my arse for more than six hours a day.  :(

Took my car to a garage to get the new wishbones fitted as it was to much bother to do them myself.

I have informed those concerned that I will top myself when that day arrives, and I wasn't joking.  ;)
