Going to view & test drive the E430 Merc tomorrow , couldn't get there this week have had plenty of pics from seller it is a 2000 on a V full main dealer history & has only done 30,200 miles from new, according to the history the first owner had 4 mercs brand new in 2000 all in silver & all grey leather interiors all serviced by suppliñg dealer until he died in 2009, by which time the E class had covered 20,000 miles.The second owner then bought & has since only done a further10,000 miles but kept up with main dealer servicing. I am in no doubt that if it lives up to my expectations I will be buying it A V8 at last !!!  Won't sleep tonight. Will keep you all informed.

Be sure to check very carefully for rust, also rusty rust and not forgetting very rusty rust

Spend more time checking under carpets etc in all the nooks and crannies for any signs of rust... and any evidence of damp under the passenger carpet... lots of electrickry under there and susceptible to water ingress...

That said, if it's as lightly used and well kept as suggested, it may well be an absolute peach... enjoy

4.3 litres of V8  should equate to effortless performance.

Well deposit paid , it is a minter every service bill MOT & even all previous tax discs all displayed in a ring  binder all in document wallets  .Drove superbly power delivery is awesome but so quiet & smooth .l love it .

If it's genuinely that clean and documented, then keep the Mercedes servicing up... use a service plan if you must... that way you will preserve the Mercedes body guarantee... no ifs or buts, there's no goodwill without it...

Does sound like a good buy though. Enjoy
