Why would anyone put walnut in their Omega?

I've just taken all mine out and it's sitting in the garage in a box where it belongs.

I'm with you.... personally I'm not a fan of wood trim in cars in general, but the stuff GM uses is positively hideous -- it's very obviously plastic and looks like the wood grain has been printed on with some form of ink-jet printer! The "carbon fibre" in the MV6 ain't exactly convincing either but at least that's subtle enough that 90% of people will just think it's gunmetal grey or black.
