Hi tried to ask this question on previous post but must have got lost in the other more important postings.

Have a crack , that is getting worse, on manifold on my my 2000 2.2 petrol mega. I have sorted this problem out in the past with welding. I do have an extensive use of different types of welding and can use them.

My question is, rather than paff about heating the manifold up and cooling down over a few hours after welding with a high carbon welding rod, (are you still awake at the back there?) would a non air pumped manifold fit and work.
