They won't rev. They are like sex without ejaculation. :)

Speed Six?
4.2V8?
4.5V8?

Is there a bad choice? ::)

Iirc, speed 6 have some specific known issues that need addressing, but chances are they're done already if the thing still runs. Beyond that, rusty outriggers and a 1970's British Leyland standard of build quality are standard fit items.

British cars should have straight sixes.

That all depends on how much you enjoy surprises and taking things apart to see how they're supposed to work.

They won't rev.

I do agree with both of the above comments.  :y  I took our petrol Audi for a spirited drive yesterday and it's ability to rev freely makes it more involving to drive.  :y

I wish.  :)

2019 2.0 TFSI Sportback. Been looking at RS6 (I have the A6 Avant currently) but I just know the novelty will wear off. Three year old RS6's with three former keepers is quite common, so are they getting rid for new cars whilst in the warranty period, or is cost/boredom getting to them.  :-\
I really can't justify spending my pension pot on something like that, as I know I'll regret it, but it hasn't stopped me from seriously looking.  ;D

I rather like the RS6 despite it's reputation for being lifeless and sterile to drive.

Many moons ago I very nearly bought a 2003 RS6 with a 4.2 turbo V8 ( only 450 BHP) but fortunately found that it had been written off before I signed on the dotted line. :-\
