Would it be sensible to lock old threads, say 12 months + old.  I start reading threads and realise halfway through I've read 'em before

They should be for reference only

dont lock old threads thats being ageist,and against the guidelines.
 but have the lights gone out yet....

Still the same here but they go out after 5 or so minutes after locking.

Enyone know why they do this surely not normal

True Jaime, but often they are dredged up without anything relevent being added, or updated.  Was just a suggestion, but accept your reasoning

Have I opened a can of worms    Sorry just wanted to save going on about what's already been discussed and by adding to this old thread making it more whole  seen as there's no real reason as to why these NCDC steering controls do this

Just wanted to make sure, Can't be good on the battery, What else stays on once its locked I wonder (apart from the alarm).
