Breast was cheaper. Roast it to death until all the fat went crispy on the outside and ran down your face when you ate it. Lovely.

Lamb cutlets are very nice, but at £1 per small chop, expensive. Esp when you're a greedy bastard who could easily eat ten

No, the breast would be cut up after we finished suckling on it then boiled, nothing wasted, it was tender and the fat was lovely.    I still make it myself now  : can’t beat it after fetching a pine end down in the heart of winter.

Being Welsh of course I love lamb in more ways than one absolutely beautiful with anchovies and rosemary and black pepper Roasted well.

I'd have it in a kebab ,but I don't have take a ways anymore since covid 
or a very lean fillet 
I don't like Lamb fat
crispy beef fat and pork scratchings, belly draft etc  I can eat and eat and eat
