France again

More car burning and riots and looting.

The policeman shoots an Arab .

Crowd funding for support of the policeman’s family dwarfs that for the Arab family

Hopefully they'll have finished burning Paris to the ground by the end of the month... Quite looking forward to my night stop there.  8)

Haven't been to Paris since 1994 :o

Well it's not doing much for the French drive to Net Zero.  :-\

On the other hand if they carry on like this there will be nothing left to burn by 2050!  ;D

France can burn to the ground as far as I am concerned, never been never want to go ,they treat the UK as a dumping ground for their shit & we pay them for it.

If I was French then I'd want to get rid of the boat people as well, then they become our problem not theirs. And, if we are stupid enough to pay them for doing nothing about it . . . . .   :(
Maybe our cash is actually paying for the boats ! Who knows ?
The big problem of course is the EU, Schenken, and freedom of movement. It's complicated.

We don't have enough snails horses or frogs legs to  support an influx of French  :-\

If the boot was on the other foot and there were hordes of people from far away lands heading for France from our shores in rubber dinghies, I can't imagine for one moment that the French would be sending their people out into the Channel to pick them up, wrap them in blankets and take them back to France. Can you?  ???  ::)

Apparently they have a sizable Police contingent on the border with Italy where they turn migrants back.  You won't hear that on the BBC tho. :-X

One of the problems with the British is that we always play by the rules. If the rules (IE: ECHR) say we must provide for aslyum seekers, even those with beards who claim to be children, then that's what our pen pushers do, with every T crossed and every i dotted.

Other countries (IE: France) openly say "yes, we'll do that", and then do what the hell they like.

Our jobsworth pen pushers and politicians won't play dirty.

I caught the end of a documentary on C4 last night about Operation Pitting, the British evacuation of Kabul following Biden's botched and totally incompetent withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan.

Apparently two and half million people have left the country since....  :o  :(

I'm all for having women "back in the kitchen"  :D, but the Taliban are taking that to the extreme.
