I'm finding it sickening seeing all the lefty luvvie media types circling their wagons around Edwards. 

The dirty old bastard had a position of trust, power and influence at our national broadcaster, and used that position and his wealth accrued from the public's purse to groom a young person 40 odd years his junior for his sexual gratification. 

If it had been someone like Nigel Farage or Kelvin MacKenzie they would have been baying for blood and for him to be strung up by his balls, but apparently because Edwards hasn't committed a criminal offence, in the words of his friend and colleague Jon Sopel it's "not that much".

The 'mental health' approach is a strange one.

Previous generations would struggle silently and stoically with mental health and emotional issues but in 2023 some people gravitate toward MH as their go to option.

I'm not sure which camp Huw Edwards falls into. Certainly many of the 'young celebs' go straight for the mental health option.

I went off him when I wrote to him with a programme suggestion and he or a minnion, never even bothered replying. I spent a lot of time on the content and wasnt looking for anything out of it.

The whole Huw Edwards thing has turned into something else.

It's not just some bloke being pervy. The Sun is a bit "right wing" so all the Lefties are taking a pop at it. It's a rag, but if it had been the Guardian I doubt that much would be said.

Yes, Huw Edwards is (was) a nice friendly TV face, but he is Left leaning and his wife is a TV producer for Robert Peston who is very anti-Tory.

Add to this the "mental issues" element and working for BBC, the lib-left are giving him an easy time. Just imagine all the same things done by a Tory MP, big business boss, or Hollywood Star. The knives would be out.
