I dont know, could make a weekender of it if we make it later in the year, but if some thing is planed for next month then it would be a day long job.
Unless some one else local has a bright idea :y

lake bala has a large car park and a cafe, ? good roads etc , then we can invade debs gaff , ? im up for it

Just some ideas chaps....
on a good day, the top of Mynnyth Rhiw at the end of the Lleyn is stunning... and usually drivable over in a miggy... (although you're strictly not supposed to... I do it every year when i go back to visit... ) there's a free car park just off the road , halfway up it... for the faint-hearted :D
HOWEVER , it needs to be a dry sunny day.... attempting it on any other kind of day is almost certain Miggy-cide
Isn't there a "decommissioning visitor centre" centre at Trawsfynydd now??? that might be worth a look...
Also, there used to be a really nice little cafe along the sea front at Llanfairfechan.....
and Llyn Geirionydd
has a really nice picnic area.... and plenty of parking...
or there's Welsh heritage centre at the bottom of Yr-eifl
(and the sizeable car park at the top... )
or there's the McD's at the A5/A483 junction...

:D One of my favourite places Max......but can be tricky to find (for non-locals) and those single-track lanes can be a nightmare, even on a good-day. ::)

i plan to raid the land of the sheep may bank holl weekend, will be nr raf valley in my picky wagon if all goes well , lets do a local beach area nr there, other wise this meet will never happen, :)

I`m considering proposing a late-summer Miggy meet/workshop/BBQ at Deb`s scenic, Welsh-mountain retreat.

Right, that`s one Pikey-pitch provisionally booked! :y
There`s enough accessible, level and flat grass in my large (but mostly-sloping) garden for three wagons with a 2x 16A RCD-protected sockets close-by.....`though for maneouvering/positioning vans we could use my Landy if necessary.
I`d say; there`d be room for a dozen (plus) visiting Miggies close to the house (on/next-to the garden driveway)....and an additional 17 acres of green-parking for cars and caravans in the field right outside the garden`s cattle grid.
BTW: There`s also a vacant, newish log-cabin, (with power and lights) available up the hill (in the garden): but anyone wishing to overnight in that would need to bring a bed-roll/inflatable-bed and bedding.

:'( Weeks of almost daily heavy-rain have turned my garden and fields into a boggy-mire; making it impossible to have cars on them.......as soon as any 'Indian Summer' shows up, and the ground dries, we can have a meet. :y

I`m still planning on hosting a Deb`s Gaff OOF meet: It`ll now be in the early-Spring; as soon as the Welsh mountain weather changes for the better.
