New Hoover - Dog compatible!
« on: 22 March 2015, 12:50:01 »

Anyone have any recommendations for a decent hoover that can cope with mountains of dog hair?

Our Sprollie (Springer Collie X) is losing its winter coat and our two old Hoovers tend to block up halfway through hoovering a room.

Although before the pedantic opps witts pipe up. That's a vacuum cleaner, not a Hoover.

We have several cats ,and bought a new Dyson Animal 33 last year.

Clears all hair in just a single pass from carpet and flotex flooring..great bit of kit, wish we had bought 1 ages ago .Not cheap though :o

I do rate the Henry's

I have an original 'Metal' Henry that does garage type jobs, hard to beat for everyday use.......... :y We have a Hoover upright, which works well but it is heavy, recently also bought a Dyson, Battery powered Vac, 'Animal'? works well but animal hair gets stuck in the 'bin' and needs a pencil to help empty it. We use this on a regular basis and use the Hoover now and then to give a deep clean............. :y

Got a Sebo here, not don't think it's a pet specific one, but worked well enough with our two when we had them, that said Tibetan Terriers aren't big moulters...
