It's the gen-z way. It isn't newsworthy unless you can find a climate change angle somehow. ;)

Towbar Prep/ Bike carrier is included.

I need to make sure they don't try and spirit this away.

Then you can carry some backup transport for when the battery expires. :y

On the XE, from memory, there is a valve with a spring in which should shut off the feed to the headlight  washers unless there is pump pressure (so its a check valve), its part of the T-piece part.

I know some have used a VW part to replace it with (281955187).

Maybe a good blow through with the air line might dislodge any crap or scale in there.

Ahh, that's useful to know. I was thinking about fitting something like this but if it already has one  I'll check it over.

Who, in a large company, actually monitors staff social media? Is it personnel or line managers or a dedicated group? It is an astonishing 23 years since I worked in the UK. Back then I remember I had suspicions about a team member and my manager got his phone calls list and he was “ working” for the competition. No social media back then.

I've been fortunate in my career to have been able to avoid anywhere with such a "large company" ethos. A couple of interviews at such places was enough for me. ::)

I think I would take legal advice in your case. That has to be unlawful under the right to free speech.
It's fairly common in larger companies.

Who often think they are above the law, but it doesnt mean they are.

You're right.

Indeed. They can write whatever they like in their company handbooks. Doesn't make it enforceable.

Other way round to my car, then. ::)
If yours is like her XE, that has a decent screen washer that chucks up a decent amount of water, and for as long as you press the button for.  Unlike the stupid XJ fanciful washer trying to be clever.

Yes, nothing wrong with the screen washer. The headlamp washers dribble a bit of water in the general direction of the headlamps when working, then syphon out the rest of the washer reservoir over the next couple of hours. >:(

Is that better or worse than a shit part from China?  :-\     ;D

Talking of which have you tried Temu?  :D
I can confirm that pattern JLR headlamp washers from China are even worse than the JLR ones, though at £12, about a tenth of the price....

They only have to actually work once a year.. So far the original ones have managed that with a bit of fettling. ;D

.. although I then need to remember to remove the relay so it doesn't syphon out the contents of the washer bottle overnight.

"My" MOT tester has yet to test the headlamp washers on my ML. It's not that easy anyway cos they don't wash every time the screen is washed

I got an advisory for them leaking last year, so maybe I'll try my luck with them inop next year and see.

Presumably Jaaag CBA to supply them. :-\

I suspect it's because of the sh1te design of their headlamp washers and the fact that they don't bother as standard that he wants them. ;)

Which reminds me...

And, completely coincidentally, I am sure, where they were planning to build  a hotel were it not for the (listed) hangar building. ::)

Now that it has cost lives I am sure I will be proved right or wrong one way or the other..  :(

It was definitely easier in the dry, and not being constantly distracted by Omegatoy destroying my door mechanism....

;D

I don't know. LFF64 did an admirable job soaking up the rain for us. ;D

That the light comes on when decelerating, was what I should have typed.

I did wonder about the level... although the pressure switch is on the front of the block so deceleration should have the opposite effect... Which leaves the pump from the three primary culprits.

It doesn't matter where the pressure switch is, the oil pressure is almost constant everywhere downstream of the pump, but the location of the oil pickup pipe in the sump, and any baffles, etc. might do.

Put an MOT on the roller skate at last.
..and right on cue, the nice weather has gone. ::)
