And get them to set the geometry to WIM settings rather than standard Vauxhall settings.

Used to get Tony at WIM to do the settings. Is he still there?

Tony passed away about 18 months ago, WIM taken over by protyre and no longer has a reputation that makes you want to visit.  I beleive one of those he trained is bookable not far away from there, can find the details easily enough if you want.

Had to print off stuff to then copy it back into lap top to add it to an email to get my housing benefit, like all these things they have now gone fully digital. Trouble is I had to buy a new ink cartridge as so long since I used it that it had dried up, bloody £20 as well. Thats half a weeks food shop---------
Also came back from a coach trip chaperoning my mum and as always ended up with a stinking cold--------

You will probably find you can 'print to pdf' this will save a file on the pc you can then attach to an email without needing to physically print it.

I use via a reward current account, the family phone cover, plus breakdown works well for us, been good responses the times its been needed.
Had to upgrade once to get a tow all the way home, but I knew that before hand and decided if the day ever came the savings had more than paid for it!
Been the AA and the RAC and both been fine to be honest.

Sounds like a cookie set on your pc is intererring with it.

Try a different browser to normal Edge / Chrome / Firefox etc or a private / ingognito window, and I suspect you will be ok.
If so, delete any OOF relarted cookies in your normal browser, they all have a way of doing it, which should permanently fix.

Talking of sitting on things, I half heartedly checked to see what DJI Mavic Minis were going for on egay, as mine hasn't been powered up since June 2022.

Looks like the ceiling price for the Fly More ones is around £170 - plenty more for sale at higher prices, but they aren't selling.  Whilst £170 minus about £15 in postage is more use than it sitting on the shelf, you just know ebay is going to be a whole load of hassle with that type of item, and the type of buyer it will attract.  I think I'd rather give it away to somebody wanting to have a go before spending shed loads of cash on such things rather than lose money with ebay's policies.

Hmmm. If you decide to sell let me know. Could be tempted.

Contract free ,set the numbers it calls ,and has back up batteries . ;)
Clicky  SureSafe Personal Alarm
plenty of similar devices about too
Panic Distress Intruder Alarm cheapo    :-\
obviously ,the new-fangled router thingy will need UPS

Neither of which will work during a power cut. Doesn't matter if these devices have battery backup - the BT side of things does not.
my landline and my mum's works without power in the house (depends on the type of phone you have )

if BT have a power cut ,it's unlikely to be on  the same grid

GSM based devices (with a sim card)  are also available ,
but, unless you live out in Rural areas, landlines are pretty reliable ,not that many people use them anymore  ;D

That is the change thats happening, there wont be power in the lines, and you cant plug a phone in.
Be a new router, or 'digital voice adaptor' plugged into the line, and the mains, and poss with a small ups / backup battery. Your phone will plug into that.
