It's supposed to be possible to take the sensors out without removing the bumper .. but I never managed it ! Be careful you don't "stretch" the wiring as you remove the bumper .. it was this (I think) that caused many of the problems I had ...

Cheers for the heads up Entwood, and thanks Al, you've just cheered me up even more now, lol

Bumper off... the sensor housing is clipped together through the bumper, but sensor clipped into it from behind :y

Cheers Al, bloody typical having to take the bumper off!!

Hi all,

My park pilot is constantly giving a tone in reverse. Sussed that the sensor to the right of the number plate is faulty/not working.

How do I unplug the sensor? Is it a case of taking the bumper off to get to it or does the sensor "pop" out?

TIA :y

Be interesting to know what's involved in changing the matrix?
alot if you want to do it by removing the dash, this will be the 3rd ive done but with the easier cut out method.  :y

As your the resident expert, I'll bring mine over  ;D ;D ;D ;D

ha, yours gone aswell, mines been gone a year or more, only weeping though. as im putting the owd mv6 back on the road i thought i had better do it before it exploded. lol

I believe it has, as I have luke warm air coming in :-\

I've flushed the system twice, pulled the vac pipe off and sealed it off the HBV and still no better. Doesn't help that I have coolant leak somewhere and no matter how many times I flush and put fresh coolant in, it still turns bloody brown >:( >:( >:(

Confirming what Mr Entwood was saying, I have towed with a 2.5 ar25 and 2x 3.2 with ar35's and never needed an extra oil cooler whilst towing our 5 birth van :y

Hi Tunnie, i really would rather fix it, but thought it would cost the earth! is JamesV6CDX local?

Mines done 147K now but i wouldn't have any other car now!

James is fairly close. He's either in Buckinghamshire or Gloucestershire iirc.

Drop him a line :y

The idea is to trade them in for a younger model ::)

That's what I did, lol.

Much to the annoyance of the Ex. She walked out on me taking the both the kids, moved in with another guy straight away and was pregnant within months.
18months later I met Gem, 10 years younger than me (she was 21 when we met) and my ex went ape sh?t at me when she found out that she was younger and better looking ;D ;D ;D ;D

One of my pet hates is when you see artics having to overtake cars on the motorways/dual carriageways!
If, as mentioned earlier, the road conditions permit, there is no reason why cars shouldn't be doing a minimum of 70mph, not bloody 70km p/hr.

These idiots should be taken off road as driving less than 60mph on these roads is more dangerous than travelling at say 80mph (if it was legal to do so) :y

Try fuse #7

Nice one Rob, fuse 7 had blown.

Not having any spare 10amp fuses at this moment, I borrowed a 10amp to test from slot 19 above.

With no fuse 19, what Have I disabled? ::)

No idea if its any help but next Wednesday night (5th March) I should be travelling from Basingstoke to somewhere around Brimingham, possible jct 2 M5 or maybe up the other side as far as Lichfield/ Burton

Not 100% set in stone but likely, so if someone can do it sooner take the offer

If it doesn't happen this weekend for him, you can drop them off with me anyway (Jn4 M5) and I'll hold til someone else can forward them on.  :y

As some will know, MrsEgg left me :(
So I'm a bit short of cash, and furniture :( :(
I have my camping gear, and a house, so not too bad  :y
But...
I need a sofa - I have the equipment to make a TG-style seat
TB is offering a black leather rear seat from a mig, but it's in Brackley, and although I could do with a day out, the 280 mile round trip is beyond my financial means at the moment. :(

So I was wondering if anyone was travelling up from there to Leeds and would have room to transport it for me?

Alternatively, I have a tentative offer of transport from Bromwich Bromsgrove  :y to Leeds on Saturday/Sunday, if I can get it to BlackViper90210 by Saturday

If someone is able to get it to the top of the M40 area, then I'd be more than happy to meet up and swop over if that makes it easier??
It will be early sat or sun morning though :)

Just checked F12 fuse, intact.

Any other suggestions, other than go through each fuse?  ???

TIA :y
