I wish though I didn't have to actually go to my local branch to speak to someone who spoke English as a 1st language! >:(

A Rosyth dockyard worker actually did that with GRP canoes. Drove in with a canoe trailer complete with some conoes on it. Drove out later in the day, different scurity & more canoes than he'd come in with. All conoes made on the premises. ;)

Never worked on me. If she did'nt want to tell me i'd just forget about it. I've never played those games. I think i'm as lazy emotionally as i am physically. Once bitten..................

Agreed!
You say ... "What's up?"
She says .... "Nothing"
So there's nothing wrong!!!!!!!!  ::)

If he'd turned up earlier in the day he'd have had time to sort the VED out before he set off homeward. SWMBO's car was bought with no tax, a short trip down the road to the Post Office, with the green slip from the V5 soon sorted it.

I got from here to Dumfries  on a less than a single tank,
in a 3.0 auto elite estate with a knackered head gasket

The New One's just done Edinburgh (rather quickly)  , also on a single tank.

(cruise control on motorway seems more economical than even my most attentive  throttle jockeying. )

i was going to indicate how long it took, and thought better of it....    :y

I did it to Rosyth from Pompey in 6 & half hours. That was many many moons ago though. ::)

What actually happens on one of these meets? I assume there will be an alchoholic presence, and communal back stabbing by some.

I think you must be confusing this with another forum get together. ;D
