Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!

That was a badly photochopped MR2 just to make a point.  ;)

I met some plonker in a fake Ferrari made from a Pontiac Fiero at Le Mans. Don't get me wrong. That kind of replica is not my cup of tea, but each to their own. However, this guy was strutting around in every bit of ferrari memorabilia possible and making out, at an event crawling with knowing petrol heads, that it was the real mccoy.

Imagine how we laughed when he came back on a low loader after lunching it trying to do a burn out.  ;D

There he is claiming it was only the aux. belt that had gone and that Ferrari parts are impossible to get hold of. It's running on about 3 cylinders (V6, remember) and throwing out smoke like you wouldn't believe.  ;D

Maybe we should try to get the makers of these 'Jags' arrested then. ;)

the pontiac based replicas are awful, they're not long enough for a start!

if anyone ever tried to convince you a fake is real, look at the tax disc :y

Tax disc was the least of it. The "T" bar autobox shifter sticking up through the classic Ferrari polished gearbox gate said everything I needed to know.  ;D

Is that the Nissan one? I would have the 1100/1300 version they do, as a fun car, classic looks, modern reliability. I like the Jag but size is not convincing enough. :)
