Anybody having problems playing cdr discs in your player try buying audio specific cdr's instead of data disc's.
We had this problem in my wifes Merc C220cdi and done some research into it as I thought the player was U/S. It turns out it was designed not to play cdr's but copies on audio discs seem to play ok.
They are a little more expensive as they are brand names like sony or tdk etc instead of tesco's.

It has the code and is fully functional...6 cd blaupunkt stereo, head unit all wiring and the 6 speakers and shelves...all in very good condition too...
as for price i dont know matey but will have a complete saloon set up for sale soon !! in a kit you need all the speakers loom from drivers kickwell to amp under shelf and cd changer amp and bracket from under parcel shelf head unit !! easy to fit on post 98 cars plug and play bud !!
