In a few days, talking to the chap on the phone, seems that one is a 3.0 PF Elite the other is a 3.0 FL MV6 both Estates, any need bits or prices?, thought I'd ask as Estates don't come up that often.

I plan to retro fit on of these units to a 98 Tigra which has ABS fitted, had a quick look at the pin outs, all seems straight forward, my question is this anyone know if the ABS signal would be suitable, assuming yes, should I just sniff the signal directly or would I need to pad it or isolate it somehow, ie, don't won't to risk lowering the signal level or the ABS operation?. Any other thoughts I need to consider?

As from today all 0800 and 0808 Freephone Numbers are Free to call on your Mobile  its only taken them 30 odd years to sort it out. 

Now all they have to do is sort out the astronomical fees they charge for making so called local and national call rates, ie 0845 0870 0871 etc.

For reference, anything beginning with 03 ie, 0345 does actually get charged off your mins allowance.

Well having spent 4 Hours parked up on the M25 on Friday night between Potters Bar and Waltham Cross, I can honestly say this 4 Lanes and no Hard Shoulder malarkey doesn't work, but surely everyone knew that before they planned it, didn't they!.

We must have seen a least 5 Ambulances a couple of Traffic Cars trying there best to get to the issue quite a few miles ahead of us, I reckon the average speed of their progress was at best less then walking pace.

Just feel sorry for anyone needing life threatening assistance under this stupid system.

General Discussion Area / Windows 10 Upgrade Notification Icon today.

Been using Win10 now for while as a Dual Boot with Win7 on the lappy, (Beta Obviously), whilst running Win7 today in normal mode, noticed an Win10 Icon notification appeared to have installed itself, upon clicking, it verified my free upgrade to Win10 full version when its ready.

Anyone else got this, I know its free anyway, but was trying to ascertain whether this is coming up on all normal Win7 Machines now, or whether its because Im using a Win10 Beta?

Also strange as Im using Win7 Ultimate, and my understanding Ultimate or Business Users wouldn't qualify for an unpaid Win10 Upgrade.

Also for info, apparently, Win10 will be the last Windows Release Platform, it will just be upgraded in time, so if thats the case, cant help thinking of us in the Year 2025 running Win10 with Service Pack 253 Installed, God thats gonna run like a pig.

For 3.0 / 2.5 Cable Drive (Non DBW)

Widened Performance Induction 3.0 V6 Throttle Bodies, Brand New (since refurb, modification), never used or fitted.

These will allow more Air Volume through at full throttle, more Air = more Fuel, = More Power.

These have been professionally re lathed and Engineered and fitted with larger Butterflies for increased performance on there own or as part of a Air, Fueling, Induction Tuning or can be used to enhance a Re Map (re Chip).

I was going to Gas Flow these (Razor the Butterflies) and then port and polish them to the Penlium, then Penlium to In-Takes to Head etc. but have decided to sell these now.

This time last year, My white parked up 3.0 Plod Project decides to go Walkabout, never to be seen again.

About 6 months back, My parked up 3.2 Elite Estate gets side whacked and written off by an unknown Hit and Run.

So, Bank Holiday, some fceking mooron idiot decides to wipe out next doors front steel gates and fence at speed and, well have a look at the photo, His car ended up on top of the gate by the way.     

Underneath, is My 3.2 LPG Manual Special.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Harman Becker NCDD 2020 and CID HU Camera Question.

Managed to get my hands on one of these, a Harman Becker HU plus CID with CD / DVD functionality, (I know they were never released in the UK or Euroland for that matter) but whilst the DVD side seems to work (needs to be a standard format or at least MP4 or AVI for your own video content), I have no info on the 2 Camera inputs, if you push the instant Record it shows as 'No Camera Input', despite both Cameras and the Camera interface being present, going through Menu shows a Camera Picture, but then if Cam 1 or 2 selected, it just shows a blank black 'No input' on the CID in normal Music, DVD or Sat Nav use. CID works as normal for other functions.

Anyone have any info on these or ideally a Handbook.

Ive always rated Nokia Maps (a World Wide Sat Nav Software, now called HERE) but it was only ever bundled with Nokia  Mobiles, anyway its now available on Craple, as well as Android and of course Win Mobile and Win8.

As its a Freebie, thought I'd post up the link. no idea what its like on iOS but give it a try
