Opel Grill changes
« on: 26 February 2010, 19:53:54 »

Today decided to make a quick change to the standard Opel grill, thought I would see what everyone thought.. Done this cause I couldnt stand the chrome stripe through the middle making it look a mile wide.. and because I havent found a grill I would like to fit to it yet..
Got to make do with what we have hey..

Personally prefer the 1st pic, but both are nice.....

I got a facelift with the Opel grille etc and i really think the logo is alot more attractive than the Vx one......

I'm with Penfold on this one.
You can see where the strip has been removed & i think that spoils it :(
What matters is "if you're happy with it" :y

Well the actual plan is to get a different grill in the next month or so and put a Holden badge on the front. ;)

Well spotted pete, that is as my Calibra in the background... :D

Makes the grille look bigger without the chrome strip...

Just look what happens when you change the color from grey to black with the front end of these cars...

The OPEL one looks way better.

Mine will have a holden badge on it real soon ;) will upload a picture then to see how that compares :D

And Pete, that calibra, registrable, Turns out the guy sold me a dud and its a couple of cars built together with an Illegal vin number stolen from a 2000 Blue Mondeo.. .. Has caused me huge amounts of problems so far and am just looking forward to being rid of it unfortunately.. the rims on it are worth 700 euro alone :(

VIN from a Mondeo :o :o :o That's a major insult to a Calibra >:(
How will you sell it? Will you break it or can you sell it whole :-/

@ PedroMV6 :D your getting an opel grill and im looking for anything but.. plan is to eventually get a holden badge in a aftermarket grill... ;) its interesting peoples differing choices and the unique way we like how motors isnt it... diversity..

Yeah Pete, its not just an insult to a Calibra, but someone with strong loyalty to GM products (being a good Aussie holden boy) it meant I got rather annoyed...
Well at the moment we are trying a law suit to get my money back, I paid about 1400 euro for it, and I dont have the tools to break it.. :(
