The Omega is one of the best tow cars around. I have a 2.6 estate which tows a caravan and the car is fully loaded with two kids and all the dogs plus kit,never misses a beat :y. Welcome to the site :)

I love automatics and they would be my choice, go for a 3.0 litre as they are stronger gearboxes.
