Must be worth it when you hear it growl

I'll look out for you, I live in Ashton on Mersey. Must have defo been you then. My meega's a bit tatty around the edges now done 185K but runs like a dream and looks good from about 20 yds.

You'll know it's me got a couple of dints on the tail gate, we don't all have rear parking sensors, anyway it was the wife, honest.

I'm reluctantly on the look out for a replacement but they are a bit thin on the ground.

Hi Steve

No chance of catching you in my DTI, but I'll not use a lot of fuel trying. Could I have seen you a few days ago coming of the carrington spur, late afternoon. Our is there an other black estate in the area.

I've made the point of location on the members posts, in the suggestions section, the lads say they will look into it, I agree it's handy in lots of ways.

Yes nice to know I'm not the only Manc on board.

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd say hello again, joined Vx on a couple of weeks ago, got lots of help and advice from some of you guys and thought what a great site, specially the omega section. I was then gobsmacked to see the carry on that caused a few guys to leave, thought one or two had a real raw deal from a few people.  :-[
But I wont comment because I dont know the personalities well enough.

Anyway as for me, the names Gary, Married to a great girl, 3 teenage kids and a golden retriever. Self employed the nickname may give you a clue to my trade, I hear it all the time as I arrive on a job, so thought I'd use it myself, not as barmy as a few names on here. I'm fairly new to forums, so please bare with me.

I've owned an Omega 2.0 Ltr Dti Diesel Estate GLS, S reg, for over 4 and a half years now, got it at about 85K and added another 100K. Been a great car. I've always been a Ford Man 'oops Sorry' in the past but this car has converted me, I'm afraid my car knowledge goes back to the late seventies, when I used to work on my Cortina Mk2 and 3.0 Ltr Capri. So sorry my input may be limited.

But if you need advice on your kitchen mounted gas guzzler, I'm more than happy to help, via pm's of course.

Great new site, looking forward to getting to know you guys.    :)
