Dti Fuel Pump Problem
« on: 16 May 2016, 14:58:32 »

Hi Guys

I wondered if someone could help me please with a some advice.

I have replaced my seized 2.2 dti engine with a good 2nd hand one I bought a while back.

Its a long story but.
We are having problems with the fuel pump on the replacement engine feeding fuel to the injectors and I have heard it is because of the security coding with the car and the replacement engine.

Is this the case and is there a way around it?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
 :y

Thanks in anticipation.

Where did you get your replacement engine from? I have spent a few months searching high and low for a 2.2 DTi from an Omega.

Did you get the Vectra one and swap over ancillaries?
