Didn't part ex it for the cheapest R320cdi in the country.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202110299016551

Nothing insurmountable wrong with it, but I drew the line at having to buy tyres on the way home.

It would have been a stonking deal though.

The add says cheap to tax ,duh its 585 a year ;D

Just had a look at my DD for the Signum.......£52.50 each month.

So more than £585. :-\

The extra is for paying monthly, £585 is top whack for that year

At 860 horsepower I’m not surprised  :o :y

Acceleration was quite uncomfortable to be honest, noise was superb 8)

The 2.3 turbo is quicker than the V8, so there's that. Oh and it's cheaper. And, carefully optioned, even looks like it...  ;D

The current one is an SUV, so a Mustang in name only.

At the classic car show I had a ride for charity in a 5.0 mustang that had been played with, 860bhp with suspension and brake mods to suit. Performance was absolutely brutal and handling seemed pretty impressive too :y

There may be some confusion over the new trim level badging of these new Audis. 50 Q8 (or the other way round?) does not mean 5.0 litre, 50 is the trim level.

I'm sure Audi use the Lambo V10 5.0 in something. ???

.....or did.

The RS6 had the 5.0 V10 for a while :y

Introduced in 1955 it was like a spaceship from the future when compared with a ponderous old Austin or Humber of the time.
 .....

Especially when you compare it with what it replaced .. Traction Avant!

I was oggling an SM at the NEC last weekend, my lad didnt know what it was but was impressed by the Maserati lump up front :y
