Grey Funnel Liners used shore supplies when parked up alongside at home. The cables for each phase were around 2" dia .... no idea now of the cross section size .... 440V 50Hz but depending on ship size, there might have been 2 or 3 or 4 lots of supplies.
I've 'paralleled' up to shore supply quite a few times  :y

leccy parking brake on my ML just goes on when I put it on ..... though on occasion it'll put itself on when you open the door while in D. HOLD is via the foot brake, nothing to do with the parking brake.
My gripe with auto main beam is that you need to be going faster than about 35 mph for the main beam to work .... 35 is too fast for some back lanes when you'd want main beam.
Auto lights .... I agree with Jamie re fog ... some drivers need to learn how to turn their own lights on. One advantage on my car is that there is no OFF on the lights switch.
Fortunately, my stop/start has stopped working ..... possibly one battery or the other, but at over £300 for two batteries from MB, I'll leaving it as it is  ;)

.....
It can, but most of us use our cars far too much for that to occur.  But look online to see how the DEF injector clogs with the shite.  Fortunately easy to clean in most cases, but means removing undertray to drop that bit out the exhaust.
Unfortunately that's not the case with my ML, though when it is used, it get's driven fairly hard & is frequently towing.

(fingers crossed) not had any problems with it in 4 1/2 yrs & 40-ish thousand miles. It gets a gallon of Adblue as & when I remember ..... it's yet to actually ask for any. No gauge fitted to mine .... I believe there is on later MBs

there are rats that keep coming back for more bait/poison from my garden. I've put loads out over the past few years.
I'm pi55ing in the wind at stopping them completely because Mrs B puts loads of food out for the birds (& squirrels), a near neighbour keeps chickens & the rats also have access to an 'eat all you can buffet' in the form of our compost bins!  :-X

So I guess the pig piss has been sitting in the tank for quite a while

Pretty sure I've seen that MB suggest Adblue is drained from the tank & replaced every year  :-\

Beyond that, the injectors seem to clog up and need cleaning up, as they get stuff with the white cystalised stuff around the injector into the SEC. .....

I thought it crystallised in the tank  :-\ I know that Forte do an additive to prevent it doing so.

......  Obviously, British management is too shit to deal with individuals, so create stupid procedures that end up impacting those honest employees, and doing little for the piss takers.

 ....

you could be easily describing my management ...

.. and this is the root of the problem. The Police refuse to do their job,  .....

It's easier to nick those villains that speed & display their names & addresses on their cars ...

I suspect that a mirror glass is dealer only, the glass that Halfords sold will likely be been have the type that you stick on over the remnants of the original glass.
