thats superb thankyou everyone..i do prefer the face lift.. but dont think im going to get an elite for the money so a nice cdx in saloon or estate with about 100000 on the clock sounds about right..plus i like the silver so if anyone hears of one that fits the bill drop me a msg and we might have a deal....thanks again and wish me luck

hi all i really hope you could all lend me your advise...ive got £1600 to spend on a omega estate or saloon not to botherd which one...but im having trouble in which engine and spec to choise. would i be best going for a older one or head for the face lift model...im going around in circles any help please?? brought a really crap 3.0 elite last year an absaloute dog..so dont whant to do that again??

hi sorry if i sound like a pain but after getting my quotes and booking my car in for a full cambelt change and full service (loadsa pound notes).  i would like to cheer myself up by sorting the looks out a bit by lowering the car by 25mm or so. looking at fitting some mv6 alloys on so would like to avoid any fouling probs and maintain comfort and hadling. dose any know of a good make and model of spring which i could look at.   i see there are loads out there but am sure some are a lot better and a lot worse than others.....any help would be great....

hi jim. what was on your shopping list when you did converstion? i was thinkg i would need front rear bumper two wings, bonnet,lights. have i missed anything. any help would be great...cheers matt

yes just ringing around for best quote on genuine vaxhall cambelt and rollers and tenshones.  looking aroung £300 at moment any ideas on price i should be aming for?

hi all just got myself a 3.0 elite and am braceing myself for cost of getting it up to standerd?? so im really looking for body upgrades. ive allready had the bad news of irmscher prices and the fact that they do not produce much for the omega anymore. is there any other company that will provide a subitle kit for the omega. and also how can i get rid of the black plastic door moulds which circle the car could i fit a colour coded set from a earlyer model omega or is it a case of somthing else.....would really appreceate any help anybody could give me.....cheers matt

hi there more peace of mind really. i would plan on keeping it for quite a while so if i had to pay through the nose to get it up to spek then so be it.   ive looked everywhere to find a fully serviced up car and  no luck at all. good point though...cheers

thats fair enough again thanks for the really good advise. might consider trailering it back if i decide to go for it. it would be a shame to buy it for it only to implode in front of my eyes? but am determind to have one just a bitch of a job to find a clean one?....cheers
