If so why is the username highlighted in black here on my desktop & on the lappy i still can't log in on.  This is'nt me & the name may be pure coincidence but i've not been able to log in on my lappy for a year or two now despite PM'ing admins who tell me my new password whuch never works & now tell me to use the forgotten password option as they can't make my original password or the "new" one they gave me work.

It's like asking a politician to give a straight answer to a question they don't like. I got my post count reinstated after leaving & rejoining but then had 10,000 knocked off which they "can't" put back despite being able to take them away. I don't care about those now but can one of you who run this site stop messing about, no more flannel try this try that rersponses & PM me whatever password it is you actually want me to use.

Call me what you like, i don't mind in the slightest just let me know what you want the password to be & i'll go with it & no more tekky answers as to why you can't please. If you can take it away then you can put it back so stop peeing up my back & telling me it's raining. Whatever i did i must've paid for it by now????? ::)

Did a personal effects job in Hendon today. When all was said & done the customer could'nt get this up his stairs & asked if he could leave it on the container. Being the obliging chap i am i said of course he could.
After meeting lodger Steve with his trailer it's now in my living room waiting to replace the tired unit in my den!

It's handbuilt & of no real value but i trawl antique/salvage places & reckon it's worth £2/£300. It's pretty heavy & has a double drawer at the bottom. Either way it's bespoke & imperfect, certainly not fron Ikea etc. & being a bit of a nostalgic collecter of allsorts i'm made up with it! 8)

Spaghetti junction or the Gravelly hill interchange as the official name dictates. J6, M6, north takes you to Lichfield or south takes you into Brum on the Aston Expressway.

I'm used to it as it's my job but if you've never been & are into extreme sports, go & have a play this weekend!!! :y

I'm pretty adventurous food wise & know these are a favourite jamaican food but heard they can be dodgy. Usually served in rice with salted fish. I've looked at recipes, yahoo etc. but are any of you actually familiar with them & how to prepare them safely?

I've got a tin of them but not sure???? :-\

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1966-AUSTIN-1100-GREEN-/190664236811?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2c64795f0b. It could do with a carpet said which are readily available. Check subframes & hydrolastic. Seller says smoke on start up but engine rebiuld? Looks kike the valve guides need re grinding, only an afternoons work with a cheap head gasket & some hermetite.

Not many MK1 1100's left this pretty at this price. 8)

General Discussion Area / An interesting weekend. Sweary link.

I've been in Sussex for a few days seiing family. Dad's nearly 82 & not doing to well but he's still up, about & ruling the roost since mum left us last year :'(. My lovely kid sister Sarah who is also a vet was there with my two little neices Amelia & Ruby who are gorgeous. Also there was my son Scott. Last visit he told me of a burger joint he & his doorman mates in Brighton use. The owner Nicks son works doors with them & the place has a chilli burger challenge...if you can finish it you get your money back. I happily eat a Vindaloo or a phal with fresh green finger chillies & enjoy it....what i cook at OOF meets just has the token sprinkle of chilli powder so all can enjoy the flavours. Anyway i laughed it off, said it could'nt be that bad, done it all before etc. Scott said he'd put a cocktail stick in the sauce (it's actually more like a brown paste)& said that he felt ill. He can eat a normal vindaloo easily. The upshot is us being blokes i said next time i'm down i'll take the challenge. This saturday we met up, parked the cars & walked the rest of the way. When we got there the place was full of the locals & Scott's mates who he'd told about it, no pressure then! I can't back down so signed the disclaimer & went outside for a smoke. When the food was ready he told me about 1200 people had tried & 46 had succeeded. ( the link below says 700 but a few years ago) Upshot is i did it, no 47!!!! Word got round & folk came to watch, but....really don't try it. I felt terrible. not just a burning gob but cramps, could'nt see or walk properly, sat outside in the cool breeze on the pavement for at least half an hour while folk were trying to high 5 me (which is gay). I would'nt do it again for any money. I took the mouth heat but it's 20 mins later you feel ill all over. I was in a proper 2 & 8 for a while & i did it sober!!!!

At least the guilty have been caught & will do a long time away. What gets me is the cowardice on their part. Why ride up on bikes, shoot at random & scarper?. Why can't they face up to whoever they've got the problem with & have a good old fistfight?

Guns & knives equal cowards who run away leaving innocent victims like this. Unforgivable.

Just looked at my notes for tomorrow & i'm off to:-

   Quality freight uk ltd,
      North wall terminal,
        Ellesmere Port,
           CH65 2JF.

That is'nt in my Street map & i don't use satnav. I've had this problem before. Surely the traffic planner could see there is no road name & chase it up before he prints the notes out. Could he/she imagine where they'd look if it was them with a 40ft high cube box behind them? Seems not. When you question the random address all you get in reply is "That's all they gave me mate". WELL LOOK FOR SOME MORE THEN!!!!! All day you have telephones & computers in front of you. I have a steering wheel, it's not rocket science FFS!
Anyway i've had a google map & guess what? It's bought up the rather' office address...CH65 1AF..........
rather' OFFICE OFFICE OFFICE...Not everyone works in a piggin' OFFICE!

Google maps did at least give me a phone no. so i can get close & call but the "OFFICE" probably won't be open...beep beep beep All i know is j9 of the M53 then throw a six to start!!!

   Put the Kettle on Debs!!!xxx
