whats the best way to remove these inc quater light without damage? changed the doors and old windows have codes engraved into them same as others on car would'nt bother otherwise.

I haven't looked myself but I'd start by removing the rubber seals around the window. That will give more room to see what's happening and also for movement. They can be put back on easily if not required to be removed.

For the main window it will be clipped or held in to the winder/motor somehow, and will have a guide rail.

I'm sure there's a how-to or other similar post on how to do this.
