I'm after an Omega 3.2 formerly owned by Thames Valley Police. Most are manuals, few are auto's...I'm not bothered which really.
Ideally I'd prefer a saloon model, but would consider an estate.
Being TVP the registration must begin with any of the following; OU, OV, OY, OE and possibly OX (although not many OX's about)
It also must be post '03' plate, so it could be OU03 *** etc or OY53 ***
Not asking for much am I? :D
Some MOT would be nice but not essential, if it's not taxed that doesn't matter. Bodywork doesn't have to be too great, but passable as okish.
If it's still got the holes in the roof, or rear panel...all the better.

what you planning ????

;D well, I'm going to restore it back to police spec.
I've got the Cleartone CM9000 police radio, telehpone handset and lightbar (still to be collected) the battenburg livery is on order, along with rear chevrons, roof markings etc. All I really need now is the optilink control system, siren and I think that's about it. But the one thing I'm missing, is the car :D
Only seen one TVP Omega come up at auction in the past 9 months or so, so I may have to buy one privately.

eventually. ::) new quarter panel, new tailgate, s/h bumper and light lick of paint, and that was the easy bit. then took 1 vosa inspection, 2 mots,(1pass with advisories and 1 pass to cover advisories) and finally a council inspection before back on the road >:( still think cat c was harsh :-/ clutch went 3 weeks later. that'll learn me ::)
to be fair though, assessor valued it at £3000, after excess and salvage got more back than i gave at woma, so not all bad, just lots of aggro. ::)
