Camshaft sensor went..replaced and went again
« on: 29 January 2008, 21:21:01 »

...after 2 miles.

I had problems with the sensors last year..all replaced (3 I think?) and all ok until last week.  The EML came up and it was the Camshaft sensor again.  Had it replaced, but came up straight away....took it straight back to the garage where they say it must be a 'deeper' electrical problem.  Has anyone had a similar problem...a friend mentioned that it could be that the sensor wasn't fitted properly??  P.S. I know nothing about cars, so if anyone has a layman's explanation.
