though obviously it would NEVER make it to Brackley  >:D
Well, that depends on the seller.  Some are geared up for it.  Far too many CBA to go to the PO to post it, because they are bone idle (sorry, were rushed to hospital/died/whatever).  And then the Chinks claiming to be British, and "Fast and Free" yet still post from Ching Chong Chinaland.
I ordered gaskets from LSC on Ebay @ 2.45PM  yesterday
they arrived today  :) so not all ebayers are crap ,
though i agree you have to pick and choose who you buy from  :y

Well, yes, I like to think I'm a good seller.  Shit always gets posted the same day if bought before 4pm, even if it means a 2nd trip to the PO.

But so many private sellers just CBA.  I don't often buy new from companies on eGay, as its usually more expensive, but these do tend to be better.  And just don't get me started on the Chinks who pretend they are English, in the UK.

I don't mind these as much. If it's something I know I don't need immediately/soon I tend to order from them, then have a moan when their 2-3 days shipping from Manchester turns into 2-3 weeks from Manfackduck.

9 times out of 10 they just issue a full refund and tell me to keep whatever it was I ordered - assuming it arrives.

Well, yes, I do that a lot.  But usually I'm after "Fast and free" for a reason.  And a week down the line, I'm back at square one.

Well, as it's been the coldest couple of days of 2022 .... so....

The 1,3, 5 rocker cover gasket on my Omega decided to fail and drip oil onto the exhaust manifold
so i'm doing a bit at a time (with mum's dementia etc taking up time) over the last couple of days
1,3,5 s done and the breathers etc all cleaned out so far ,but want to do 2.4.6 gasket too
as it's nearly 20 years old now  ;D
so i'm relegated to the manual 1.4 astra G hatch for a few days   :P
