Help Please, Again?

I am at times colour blind; I can see green as blue and visa versa, and other colours become confused in the mind.

What is the colour of the shelf please:



My long haul replacement of the rear parcel shelf, a marathon not a sprint, needs me to identify the colour so I am satisfied with the end result.

Out of these colours available in spray dye, whic h one would you think is the closest please?

That is what I thought.  But I have sprayed successfully (using 600ml of spray dye) the shelf light grey, but it looks different than my pictures!

Perhaps I am having a senior moment again with my colour blindness!

Looks different in what way?Is the newly painted lighter or darker than your pictures?No doubt Vx will have a proper name for the colour,but I think you'll probably have to settle for a finish you're happy with,but bear in mind the parcel shelf has gone through many years of exposure to the sun etc. and possibly been cleaned a time or two also which can alter the original colour.

It looks darker.  But, yes you are right, with a 14 year old car sun would have had it's effect.  I just want as perfect a finish I can give it, no expense barred, but I suppose their is a limit.

Interestingly I found a "Ford Coral Beige" spray pain in Halfords that has matched (I believe) the top of the acquired blind to the speakers covers.  I test sprayed a bit of this "beige" on a corner of the shelf and it was all wrong, looking like an orange!!

Thanks citroenguy I have been looking at those colours for an exact match,  but somehow they seem either too orange or yellow!

That is great assurance for me amba, and with the previous comments, it looks like I am going in the right direction. 

I will hopefully now complete this project on Tuesday
