Think mines around the same for my " classic" 2007 RRS but we have a choice keep them or get rid. 👍

Same money for my "classic" Australian import. 20 years old next year from its build date
Ulez compliant. Technically, using DVLA,s rules of build date for 40 year exemption, I can contest the taxation group. Built Oct 04, registered Sept 06
I have there phone number and will do so in the new year
All while it is undergoing some "minor" modifications

1.0l Focus is £24 pa. That's the only good point of the entire car. It isn't a good deal.

The unavoidable costs of running three cars is getting a bit much for me. Particularly when two of them do no more than 5000 miles a year between them.
I think the Boxster will probably have to go next spring / summer.  :(

.

We've gone from three back down to two, it was a total waste of cash I only cover around 5,000 miles a year in the Range Rover & the wife about 3-4,000 a year in her Subaru ,we lost a bit on the MX5 but it just wasn't being used. More money for beer now..🍺🍺🍺

Mrs TB's planet destroying soot chucker comes in at £0 pa, but she still has to go through the hassle of "buying" it every year.

I'm sure mine is about £300 pa, and ain't ULEZ exempt, so have to pay all the corrupt mayors around the country a tenner to help them pull down statues of historic British figures...   ...so I burn as much diesel in their shithole cities as I can, and smog it up.

I should think so too. Otherwise how will all those uncivil "servants" justify their jobs be able to sit at home on their arses, logging into their computer for a couple of hours a day, to do the necessary paperwork.
Red tape is a very good job creation / retention scheme.  :D

135 euros a year here for road tax for any 2.0 litre vehicle. Based on engine size only. The money goes to the local council.

Wretched ULEZ zones springing up everywhere in Europe. Might be driving back to UK at end of month. Got to get a French sticker for Bordeaux and Rouen. Rouen apparently has variable limits depending on traffic levels, more congestion then only the lower polluting cars can drive. Welcome to our new world.

PS no common sticker in Europe.

Just checked with WBAC and they are currently offering £1295 for my classic. Couple of years ago their offer was closer to £650.

Confirmation she is an appreciating classic. ::) ::) ::) ::)

Something popped up on my phone this morning Opti, didn't have time to read it all but expect an increase to £60.81 which we currently pay, may be in the next budget.

Then £60.81 every subsequent month. :-\......until the bastards put it up again.

Pistonheads describe your car as a half forgotten class experiment M'Lud, which is very rude I think!  :o   ::)   ;D

https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/vauxhall-signum-v6--spotted/46228

However..... Check out the price of the one in the article! £4190!  :o   That's over a year ago, but there's currently a 2.2i for sale at £2995.  :)

Maybe you do have an appreciating classic on your hands after all....  8)       Best sell it quick before it dissolves!  :P  >:D

It'll still cost you £729.72 a year to tax it though Uncle STEMO....  :-\

I'd consider it for a Range Rover or BMW 7 series, something like that, but a classic Vauxhall?  ::)

£17.50. Delivered.

It'll still cost you £729.72 a year to tax it though Uncle STEMO....  :-\

I'd consider it for a Range Rover or BMW 7 series, something like that, but a classic Vauxhall?  ::)
Nah. For £17.50...delivered.....I'd just take it out and rag the arse of it until it went bang. Then I'd set fire to it and get the £50 insurance  ;D

Good plan! And you'd still make a bigger profit than Lord Opti ever will!  ;D

I'd make a bid, but I couldn't afford to tax it..

The article talks of 'Signum class' I suppose that is  similar to first class or Concorde class..... ::) 8)

I paid a paltry £2400 for mine way back in 2015.

It was owned by a JP. :)

It gets better. It has provenance!  :y

You should tell prospective buyers investors that the JP was a direct descendant of Judge Jefferies!  :)

Inflation isn't necessarily a reflection of Government spending levels... Hence the higher rate of increase.

Start an online petition, if you get more than 100,000 signatures the government will have to debate it  :)

I was but a wee lad when this came out and had to Google it.  :)

Edit:

Some countries already have a kind of Logans Run with their 'assisted dying' policies.  Canada for example legalised assisted dying or euthanasia in 2016 and since then just over 30,000 have been helped to meet the Grim Reaper.

It seems that the Canadian Govt have expanded the reasons to be eligible and last year 13241 chose to shuffle off their mortal coil with help from their Dear Leader.

Food for thought? It would certainly help solve the housing crisis!  >:D

They're using it as a way of reducing health service expenditure. Basically they fail to provide basic home care for semi independent people thereby making their lives a painful misery. Then when the individuals have had enough the government facilitates their suicide.

The same government has also decriminalised the unregulated supply of various narcotics and that problem is only going to go one way.

The opposite.

They're gradually irradiation decent normal society in the name of being woke. And the psychopaths running the place do so with a smug smile..

The 'right wing' rioting is anything but. It's encouraged behaviour designed to instill fear and anxiety into the normal decent people to justify the behaviour of devisive woke elites.

The sooner this place blows itself up the better.
