You’re right there Trev but I’ve got someone to fit and gas it for me. They took 520 grams of fluid out of it while checking so at least I’ll get that back😂 Btw thanks for the express service😎😎

Do it from above ;)
Doh! Talk about a brainfart moment.  Helps if you go done in front of the radiator ;D

Thanks for the tip Al :y
Shame it appears it wasn't the sensor (unless the cheapo egay sensor is wank).  So it'll still be a bumper off job, poxy thing ;D

Changed the temp sensor, and engine oil (but not filter :( - just too windy, was hard enough getting the oil from the sump into the container without it going everywhere).

Old oil was 7k old, and had gone quite dark, but sure I'll get away with not changing the filter this time.

Had a quick look at LPG, but the weather turned, so for now, just whacked the switch-over temp to 70C.  Suspect I might have to whack it up further, until I can find a solution (probably new injectors)

What injectors do you have on yours?
Badged Motogas, which I think was Teilo's brand - so god knows what they really are ;D

The Valteks that I had on the 3.0l were flawless, believe it or not.  In fact, they may go on as a test ;)

Well, the last 2 sets of struts I bought for the Omega from Ebay, I'm still waiting for ;D  (actually, ATP did eventually refund after an awful lot of chasing (it might have actually been ebay/paypal that sorted it)).

Cam belt change, is also the right time to investigate oil leaks, which are expected to be from the cam covers.

Once cam wheels were removed it was obvious that the leaks were mainly from the front cam seals.
