Have just travelled down to spain, (weather's lovely I might add  ) and all the way down here I had a slight vibration which I could feel through the car as well as the steering wheel. It was barely noticable in a straight line but when on a long slight bend either left or right it seemed to increase. I can feel it from 70ish upwards. My tyres are nearly new michelins and I also had the balancing done at kwik fit about a month ago. Before that the balancing was miles and miles out. Could it be that kwik fit havn't done it right or could it be something else. Any ideas?

Generally, if a vibration is felt through car, thats rear wheel balancing.  Other things could cause it - bent prop etc, but balancing most likely.

if its more on a bend could be wheel bearing starting to go !! but whole car more likely to be rear wheel balance bud

especially if they were balanced by kwikfit.

Hardly any garages tend to balance 100% accurately but it is my experience that it can make a difference if only a couple of grams out.

Go have it checked out again. Alot don't use clip on weights either these days, they use stick on ones which can also come off.

after rear wheel balance is sorted and if vibration still continues then prop is the next step..

The prop balance is usually felt at much lower speeds than wheel balancing. If the vibration starts at around 30 or 40 MPH then it's likely to be the prop because the wheels aren't spinning fast enough at that speed.

luckily someone left a flyer under the windscreen today at the beach, it was advertising tyres exhausts etc, and English speaking too.
will let you know how it pans out. Oh and by the way petrol is 1.12 euros at the moment, thats about 70-75 pence per litre.

Lucky you we're at 1.14 euro a litre here  
I found the same symptoms last week on my estate. I noticed the gearstick gently shaking as speed increased and I could feel a faint vibration too through the car, nothing too bad but more of an irritation.
I had the two rear wheels balanced( new tyres were fitted on front three weeks ago)  but I don't feel it's much better.
I'm checking and adjusting the rear hanbrake shoes and cable for NCT ( MOT) this weekend and intend to examine it then.
I'm wondering if it could be centre rubber bearing on prop.
Can anyone give symptoms of this bearing failing.
