Facelift Omega, Reverse Sensors Control Box
« on: 11 September 2008, 16:21:28 »

Can any one tell me if all facelift elite's have the loom fitted for the vauxhall reverse sensors.

The reason I'm asking is that I have an irmscher rear bumper which has the vauxhall reverse sensors already fitted with loom and plug so I was wondering if I could just plug and play.

Nope, none of them had any loom connection as standard,

The setup has a seperate control  module that attaches to the ctructual section just forward of he spare wheel in a saloon, without this its pretty useless!

Do you know if any cars had the loom in place?  Haven't looked at wiring diags, is it a simple 0v and reverse feed, like the cheapo kits?

for the Omega it's just +12 and 0v I fitted a genuine Vaux one to mine stripped from a scrapped Elite. It was simply spliced into the reverse lamp feed and earthed. Loom comes with the unit. Only thing preinstalled is the mounting holes for the control box
