Thats sweet, now I take it you have an ECU upgrade?

Also what is that number at the wheels?  RWHP?

Mine put down 195 RWHP and 207 RWTQ

I was told that translates to around 234BHP... @20% drivetrain loss...

nope, standard car bar the Remus backbox and both middle boxes removed...air filter is the first upgrade then a remap later this year.

was putting down 200bhp at the wheels

Wow thats insane close to 30bhp just from the exhaust system and a filter huh?  that just tells you how much the stock unit sux!...

On another note what kind of a gain is the ECU going to give you... I have been hearing additional 20hp but a sacrifice in fuel consumption...  :-/

thats a 30bhp increase on just an exhaust....the filter is still standard. i know of another 3.2 that was putting out 247bhp with a straight through exhaust....he then fitted a BMC CDA, he hasnt got it RR'd yet so that should be an interesting result!

ive heard somewhere around 20bhp increase with an ECU upgrade, ive also heard of more. Should be more interesting come the end of hte summer :D

ive also got a better image of the print out for your viewing pleasure:D

I keep looking at your Torque and HP curves and I jsut cant figure out why the Torque curve peaks up and then dives down...

When I dynoed mine it peaked at 3200-3400rpm range and stayed flat at slightly below peak for the rest of the trip and started to die off right after 6000... and that was the intersting part... No power adders but yet a flat torque curve... I suppose maybe something is wrong with my Ram system?

BTW that is one sweet car you got there... I love the color and the wheels...

Another thing to note the electrical system IE... the headlights etc use up a good 2-3hp as well... I have talked to a few dyno guys and they all say you should turn the stuff off, and keep as little load on the alternator as you can to see exactly what the engine puts out... otherwise they say the average is around 2hp loss with stuff running...

balls i never thought of that, and the climate was set on auto too lol! however, HID's only draw about 30w or something and the climate should have a system where when the car is at full throttle it should disengage the air con pump to allow for full power. (well, thats the way my old Toledo worked, vauxhalls could be different lol)

o well,im not too worried really....ill just be in for a bigger suprise next time :D

as for torque curve, ive never seen an omega chart so im not sure. i asked phil who did the run and he said she was going really well. coming from a honda making 121lb/ft this is a welcome change! :D

cheers for your kind comments!

Now that I got a glimpse of your car I got more questions... for once do you have more pictures to show me... I would like to lower mine as well and I was wondering if you can tell me which springs you used, how much it lowered the car and also how did you handle the alignment issues...

I hear lowering makes the Camber go to around 2-3deg which is terrible for the tires... so I want to find out all of that before i jump on the band wagon...

Cheers M8  (lovely car you got there, I envy you  :y)

ok, well, i only have the car about 3 weeks! so everything thats been done to her was done by the previous owner!

suspension wise, shes been lowered 40mm on Spax springs and the shocks have been changed to Blistein items that the Police use here. Supposed to be stiffened up with the extra weight they have to carry.

rear camber, yes, i have noticed that the rear tyres are wearing more on the inside but ill just get the swapped over to wear them more evenly. and theyll hardly be there long either....turning the TC off is just too much fun :D

theres no way shes being lifted, i think shes sitting perfectly! hope that helps! tyres circumference is just right in the arches, pretty much the same gap all the way round

WOW  :o  That is simply perfect thats exactly what I want for mine...
I guess I am going on a search for some 40mm springs and some new shocks then...
Should have everything sometime this spring...

Found these pictures of a Catera Conversion here in the states but couldnt figure out what stuff he used...

Enjoy...

LED rear lights are a nice touch too, are those from the catera?

and you dont necessarily have to have the shocks, but the guy that owned her was really fussy lol

Yep thos lights are awesome but to switch to them you need the entire trunk lid... the whole thing is different...

As for me and my car the springs will be an upgrade at the moment but the shocks may be going so those will probably get replaced with another set possibly Koni.... we will have to wait and see what comes along...

;) IS the ride bouncy or stiff? how would you rate it, I know it will be better then stock, also do you see any rubbing at all anywhere?

It's possible that the worn rear tyres may have been on the front and were swapped to the back.

If so have you got standered Shocks?
