I prefer to see it as a counterbalance to the left wing media. It will be right leaning, of course, but will make a change from all of the left wing bias of the BBC and Channel 4. You are free to watch whatever you choose to, it's right that others have the same choice.
It's not a rolling news channel, and will likely take some time to find it's feet. I will record some of the content and watch it at my leisure, that way I'm not tied to any specific time. I, personally, hope it does not portray extreme views, merely supports the opinions of the silent majority, which you will no doubt deny the existence of.

Well I can't get it as I don't get a decent Freeview signal from the main TV mast round here, so had to tune in to a repeater station which puts out a fraction of the available Freeview channels. ::)

Plenty of 'big name' adverts like Amazon to be seen. My guess is that they pay very little, or nothing, to advertise at this very early stage of GB News development.
Viewing figures will need to increase for revenue from adverts to increase.

The one glaring problem is that it has one current affairs programme after another but not actual news programmes.
It needs to have 6 o,clock and 10 o,clock news, with headlines on the hour, as that is what viewers are used to.
Hopefully it will get there because it has the right mission in mind from the start.

Advertisers have a choice, as do we. I've deprived sky and BT of over £300 already, because of the wokeness of football. I hope more do the same.
What these woke demonstrators and the like forget is that the anti-woke establishment types have all the money, and they ain't getting any of it. I think anyone who claims job seekers, and is found to be tying themselves to a bamboo structure outside a perfectly legal business, should be sanctioned. Maybe sectioned too.

I have, frequently, and, unsurprisingly, got nowhere. The programme Feedback on radio 4 was a good example of the BBBC’s woke agenda. Having listened to it over many years, I do not recall the Beeb EVER accepting listeners’ criticism.

A company can spend it's advertising budget how and where it wants to. That is their prerogative. I'm not angry, more disappointed by what I consider to be their cowardly 'virtue signal' approach.

Reading the story it suggests to me that in this case it may be more personal than political.
I have to say though as a Scot I am acutely ashamed at the anti English and " Toarie " rhetoric that spews from the mouths of the nationalists.
