Buy a bike inner tube.
Cut it opposite the valve.
fit the cut ends over the ends of the pipe you want to test
Jubilee clip the tube over the pipes.
Pump up to 7bar with a track pump.
Spray soapy water over the assembly to check for leaks.
Takes 5minutes and an inner tube from Poundland :y
This also works for radiators, coolers and anything else you can fit the tube over.

Unfortunately...one of my metal pipes has failed under test, so that set is going off to BC for repair/refurb. But also would like to get another set for the spares shed due to still having the three cars ::)

Nil stock :'(

Cheers Trevor, have located two good sets of pipes, and will drop them up to Kettering for a refurb. :y

May I ask who is refurbishing them? One of mine is leaking and despite a replacement set of pipes it still leaked - Serek said he couldn't repair them as it was thin aluminium so if you have an outlet that can i'm all ears :)

Apologies for the delay.... Bee Cool ACS, Kettering,Northants.
