Solved! I got a PS ecu (3liter 94 or early 95) without immobilizer and now car revs and drives ok.I have some another little gimmicks ,but is a discussion for another topic.

2
I think ecu is fried,as engine management light flickers with rpm,as you increase rpm it is flickering slower....for me is very hard to obtain something to swap and try because people rarely drive these cars here...i sourced my ecu from germany and loom also, but loom looks so good and perfect to be problematic... i am running out of options... i think i will keep x30xe intake and return c25xe ECU and loom, because car is not driveable at all...the multirams will need to wait little bit while i source known good working ecu

Newer type of sensor...Bosch...new...put it on the car still same...cut outs randomly under acceleration...only left option is Siemens type of sensor...

If someone can check for me,because i have no software, what throws out as option:

VIN of the car from which ecu is:

W0L0VBF35Y1130989

Year was 2000

No,because you cannot start it on c25xe loom...throttle position sensor reads opposite direction on omega(throttle moves in different direction,etc)... i have fully swapped it for x30xe management with facelift loom and facelift ecu, only sensors remained the same(i uncliped spade connectors and properly replaced with few square plugs that i needed)...now i am looking for info which crank sensor i need, siemens or bosch from topic above(link)

Hi folks!

I recently put x30xe management on my Y32SE...
Before that it had c25xe management and i bought week ago original GM Bosch metal crank sensor with square plug,as stated it fits omega 2.5 V6 94' ,all calibras 2.5 V6,vectra B 2.5 v6...everything worked good until i put 3.0 loom and management

Now with x30xe management i have fault 19.I suposse the ECU doesent like the old metal bosch sensor.
It is facelift 3.0 ECU with letter coding AF.
I need help from experienced owners to confirm me that i dont need Siemens type of sensor,if we reffer to this topic...

Thx in advance :)

Omega General Help / Re: Y32SE normal operating temperature...
« on: 03 August 2021, 07:03:08 »
It is in a calibra, hoses have medium pressure, they are not so hard, but not so soft either,2.5 engine didnt had these problems...

One thing is not clear for me,the pump is all metal, what could possibly go wrong? Thanks :)

Omega General Help / Y32SE normal operating temperature...
« on: 03 August 2021, 01:05:06 »
Hi! My y32se stays at 95 degrees when driving open road at 40-60 mph...when i go uphill it reaches 100-102...when driving 30ish mph it rises to 97 with fan working to keep it back to 95...outside air temperature is 30 degrees...how is your experience in certain conditions, very curious

Hi! As question stated, what could cause running without oil cooler for a short term? (Blocking of both holes on the sides of oil filter(there would be no circulation between them)

Thanks.

I have also a calibra turbo with 4x4 ...i think everything under 250-270 hp makes no sense with 4x4,had a 3.0 liter calibra before, and a good driver with good tyres can take it of the line with no much problem :)...the system weights at 105kg with fluids, once you are of the line robs power, more consumption, more things to break ,plus rear manifold stands in way of transfer box ,so need precise custom fabrication :)..

At the moment i am also building my turbo calibra to a 500 hp project with upgraded transfer box ,this is where all wheel drive makes sense :)

Well 3.0 in my wagon goes really well,e46 330ci manual cannot keep up with me,i am going away...weighted at 1680 kg with 30L fuel and spare tire...

On other hand i have Calibra 2.5 v6 DTM Edition and sourced a 3.2 liter Y32SE and have putted in with Calibra C25XE inlet and ancilliaries...Soon i am reshaping the hood and will put up a 3.0/3.2 inlet and get it remapped...the 3.2 engine has 50 000km (32 000 miles)...

12
Interested in how it is compared? I would like opinions from people who have driven, tested or raced so personal experience, bought 3.0 van with manual, acceleration is very good,3.7 diff ratio i think,so i am asking myself what would 3.2 do better?

Omega General Help / Re: Ultimate V6, has anyone actually built it?

x30xe engine is capable of 230 240 bhp with these mods...

-exhaust manifolds are a restriction...custom made tubular manifolds are way to go...exhaust line should be connected in H or in X...totally separated exhaust lines didnt shown good results on any car
-4xG camshafts are needed(little bit lumpy idle but more agressive when revved, gives few hp also)..or you should consider catcams
-3.8 bar fuel pressure regulator(improves throttle response and reduces flat spots-noticeable)
-fuel injectors are a little drawback...factory x30xe x25xe and y32se injectors flow 212cc/min 3bar..it is enough for 218hp
at duty cycle of 90%(that is maximum duty cycle recomended for injector durability)...so when fuel pressure upped to 3.8 bar
we get maximum hp of 245 at duty cycle of 90%

...remap is not needed i think because factory ecu adapts so well to the mods

so however i doubt it will be very noticeable in car heavy like omega...maybe on manual transimission with closer diff ratio should give good gains with these mods...however then you sacrifice mpg...

i put this engine to cavalier calibra..6 speed gearbox close ratio and light flywheel 6.5kg...and have noticeable gains with 3.8 bar and exhaust manifolds..exhaust line 60mm without cat...
inlet is from 2.5 cavalier and ecu also(tried many chips and ecu adapts best with factory map)...now going to x30xe inlet and menagment so will see how much will gain because 2.5 cavalier inlet is big restriction on 3.0 engine...

Ok so i hope a 2.5 ecu with a 3.0 eeprom will work just like original..thank you guys!

I already have x30xe eprom(left from my old ecu)...and if i buy x25xe ecu ill get immobiliser(transporder and ring) with it...so i just wanted to know is any other difference cause every other thing on that engines is indentical except displacement...thank you
