Are the speakers working? Haven’t noticed any difference here. Went to see a friend in Salar today three dogs barking like nutters across the road in an empty house

Lizzie. I refer you to my previous post . President Xi stated to his assembled minions that 2022 is the year that Taiwan comes back into the fold. That is 100% going to happen .

If the West intervenes with say military strikes on Russian cities/targets Putin has said that he will unleash unimaginable response. Presumably laser strikes from space etc. in other words not weapons we are used to.

As an aside, I wonder if we have a room full of techno geeks doing Cyber attacks on Russian banks , power stations , gas valves and so on. How long could the West last with internet under sea cables ripped up, power stations not generating, air traffic control not working?

Have you got your grab bag sorted? Might be behind all the rice, beans and pasta!

Donald Trump describes Putins aggression towards Ukraine as genius, wonderful and savvy.

Hmm might expect a Putin crony to say that but a former US president?

Yes cruelty abounds here. Just one story. A Spanish neighbour said how awful and cruel it was that we had our cat and dog sterilised. It takes away their right to have young. Their answer to excess births is to put the kittens or pups in a sack and then repeatedly hit the sack against a wall till no more sounds emit. The same family have an endless succession of small dogs that never got older than two as they lose their adorableness.

PS give us a heads up when you are going to switch this wall of white noise sound on. Maybe the dogs here will shut up too.

Just a thought. Are these speakers pointing across the Atlantic?

Could be what is causing the “ Havana effect” in the American embassy in Cuba. If so you might be getting a drone visit from Uncle Sam .  ;D

Barking dogs is a big problem in rural Spain. People install a dog or more at their unoccupied rural properties and visit once or twice a week with food ( usually unused stale bread). We feed a mastiff that is chained up about two miles away. Once when we arrived we thought it was dead but it turned out to be a whole dead sheep that the farmer had left it to gnaw on. Thankfully new laws come in next month giving animals a lot more rights including changing from being objects to being sentient. The police will be swamped with work.

As an aside, did anyone else think he looked deranged at that staged meeting with his chiefs.

Maybe he is auditioning for the next Bond villain.

Bargain. Would look grand outside a wine bar.

Years ago I suggested damming the Wash. That would make a nice reservoir.

It won’t be long before countries start looking at seawater and big time solar desalination plants ( not the uk) plenty of water there and it would help combat “rising sea levels” !

My friend was. An experience but broadly he hated it. Stuck out the time and came back on the QE2.

Hurrah, going to be scrapped in Britain.

Horse bolted door.

Same problem throughout Europe. Malta, Spain etc etc. what fools governments are. £1 billion of dodgy Russian money invested in Britain pushing up house prices.

Been to some great 999 " Gentleman's evenings" amazing what some strippers will do for a few quid very supple 😂

I've attended a few.

Mother and daughter strippers used to be a thing, although judging by the lesbo action I very much doubt they were really related. ::) ::)

The pub down the road from the backpackers hostel I stayed at for few weeks in Perth, Western Australia back in the day, had lunchtime strippers, so that was a popular place to go for a liquid lunch on days off, before heading to the WACA for a spot of cricket or the beach for a surf. Happy daze!  :y

Were you a £10 pom?
