Been auctioning a lot of my toy car collection as Grandsons are not  interested in them at all , quite amazing what people will pay for them going to use the money for a trip to the Caribbean if travel looks settled next year, best sale so far the Saints Volvo P1800 cost me 5/6d (27.5pence) sold for £380 mint & boxed.

We purchased a nice little Renault clit for our Grandson last year 62 plate 1 lady owner excellent service history, it was up for £2500 got it for £2000( private sale) it was written off last week a woman driver who took the complete front end off had a call today beyond economic repair £3800 into his bank account within the next 4 days , fortunately a witness saw her on her phone so all down to her , I suppose the rise in used car prices boosted the settlement figure.

One of our neighbours has traded her old Ka in & bought a new Corsa, asked me what I thought of it, I really liked it a vast improvement on earlier models I really thought it was an Astra till I saw the badge on the boot, cracking little car

Had an invitation a few days ago to a neighbours house today for drinks & nibbles along with around 10 others, didn't think it was a particularly good idea with the present situation so declined being open & honest about our decision, have heard today that he has cancelled it due to his wife testing positive , that could have gone badly wrong for a few folks.
